3 Best of All-Classic Video Games Time

Throughout many generations, arcade video games have evolved from basic puzzles such as table tennis ping pong to heavily graphical RPG online multiplayer games today. But before any of the amazing computer games we play today, there were notable gameplays that marked a breakthrough in the video game industry. Here are some of them.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Launched in 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time proved to be 3D-graphic fantasy action adventure gameplay came with one of the world’s first ever target locking features. The story is set up in a vast open world that enabled players to control the activity with a character named Link as it’s the main protagonist.

A reward system also works within the game as players earn abilities and weapons from solving quests or beating bosses. With a good storyline, battles, exploration, 3D graphics, and a touch of magic, critics regarded the Legend of Zelda as one of the best video games of all time resulting in many awards and recognition worldwide.

Tetris

Inspired by tennis and geometric shapes called tetrominoes composed of 4 squares fused together, this simple matching puzzle game became a huge success for a variety of handheld devices. It can be played by anyone from a little 5-year-old to an elderly because of its straightforward simplicity.

The goal of the game is to get the highest score possible from fitting tetrominoes that fall into a solid line without gaps. A fully stacked line disappears and creates new space as new tetrominoes fall with increasing speed as higher levels are unlocked. Numbers mark its success as the game has sold over 170 million of its copies into cellphones and other devices from its first release in 1984.

Super Mario 64

This 3D game sets in a three-floored castle and other simple “worlds” that are accessed and explored by the main protagonist Mario. He retrieves stars to save the captured Princess Peach finally.

Considered to be one of the most revolutionary video games of all time, Super Mario 64 introduced a 360-degree control of its character and a camera system no other games have ever done during its time.

That ends my list. We’re looking forward to more years of gaming with new trends and thrill.
